Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join Aldi, where you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and ensuring the store is clean and organized. As a key member of the team, you will work collaboratively with colleagues to provide exceptional customer service and enhance the overall shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ACTS Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Assist customers, communicate effectively with team members and provide feedback to management.
• Participate in inventory counts and adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Ensure cash handling procedures are followed and maintain store security and confidentiality.

Physical Demands

• Stock merchandise, including lifting up to 45 pounds and engaging in various physical tasks.
• Regularly move around the store and perform cleaning duties as required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service and operate a cash register.
• Comfortable using equipment like a hand jack, floor scrubber, and cardboard baler.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team setting.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma preferred.
• Previous retail experience is a plus.
