Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join the ALDI team. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store maintains its visual appeal and provides exceptional customer service. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the store.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills consistently.
• Stock shelves, handle customer purchases, and maintain product displays.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their shopping experience.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Report product issues, inventory losses, and provide feedback to management.
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses.
• Comply with company policies, uphold document security and confidentiality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Operate a cash register efficiently and accurately.
• Safely operate store equipment and perform general cleaning duties.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
