Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join Aldi, where you will play a critical role in ensuring an exceptional customer experience. As a Store Associate, your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness. You will collaborate with the Aldi team and provide outstanding customer service to enhance the overall shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
• Collaborate with team members and effectively communicate with store management
• Monitor inventory accuracy, adhere to cash policies, and follow established procedures
• Perform store inventory counts according to guidelines
• Adhere to company policies, uphold document security, and maintain confidentiality
• Complete assigned duties as required

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to provide courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of cash register and store equipment
• Capability to interpret and implement company policies and procedures
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
• Organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, and multitask effectively
• Compliance with state and local regulations for handling and selling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is advantageous
• Equivalent combination of education and experience
