Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

Join our team as a Full-Time Store Associate at ALDI. In this role, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness. Your main focus will be on enhancing the customer shopping experience by providing exceptional service alongside our collaborative team.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $16.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
• Assist customers during their shopping experience
• Communicate effectively with team members and management
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
• Participate in inventory counts and follow cash policies
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and security protocols
• Perform other assigned duties as required

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years
• Ability to offer prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficiently operate a cash register and various equipment
• Follow cleaning procedures and company policies
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Work independently and in a team environment
• Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking
• Meet local requirements for selling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
• Equivalent combination of education and experience
