Job Description
Join ALDI as a Full-Time Store Associate in an entry-level position. In this role, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness to provide an exceptional shopping experience for customers. Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform cashiering and general cleaning duties.
- Stock shelves neatly and maintain merchandise displays.
- Assist customers and enhance their shopping experience.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management.
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and store issues.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies and procedures.
- Follow company policies while maintaining document security.
- Complete assigned tasks efficiently and professionally.
Qualifications
- Minimum age of 18 for employment at ALDI.
- Proficient in providing prompt and courteous customer service.
- Skilled in operating a cash register accurately.
- Capable of safely using equipment such as a floor scrubber.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous retail experience is advantageous.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience.
