Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to ensure a top-notch shopping experience for our customers. Working collaboratively with the ALDI team, you will provide exceptional customer service, stock shelves, assist customers, and communicate effectively with the management team.

Position Details

Job Type: Full-Time
Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
• Collaborate with team members and effectively communicate with store management.
• Participate in inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses.
• Follow company policies and procedures while maintaining security and confidentiality.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Proficiency in operating a cash register and store equipment.
• Capable of interpreting and applying company policies and procedures.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
