Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment to ensure the best shopping experience for our customers. Collaborating with the ALDI team, you will provide exceptional customer service and contribute to the overall success of the store.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $19.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Perform cashier duties, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
• Communicate effectively with team members and management
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and store operations
• Participate in inventory counts and maintain accuracy
• Adhere to cash handling policies
• Follow company policies, procedures, and security measures
• Perform other assigned duties

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous service
• Efficiently operate a cash register
• Safely operate equipment and perform cleaning tasks
• Excellent communication skills
• Work well independently and in a team
• Maintain organization, attention to detail, and multi-tasking abilities
• Meet requirements for handling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
• Equivalent combination of education and experience
