Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer shopping experience by merchandising products, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays neatly.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management.
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to management.
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and procedures.
• Comply with company policies, maintain document security, and confidentiality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties to company standards.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Meet state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail experience preferred.
