Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring the store's efficiency and providing exceptional customer service. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to enhance the shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate consistent adherence to ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, restock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide outstanding customer service by assisting shoppers and collaborating effectively with team members and management.
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to enhance store operations.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses and comply with company procedures.
• Perform general cleaning duties and uphold company standards.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Proficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
• Capable of interpreting and applying company policies.
• Strong communication skills and a team player mindset.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask efficiently.
• Compliance with state and local regulations on alcoholic beverages handling and sales.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail work experience is a plus.
• Combination of education and experience equivalent to retail knowledge.
