Job Description
As a Full-Time Store Associate at Aldi, you will be responsible for various tasks including merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness. By working collaboratively with the ALDI team, you will enhance the customer shopping experience and provide exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues to management.
- Participate in store inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize financial losses.
- Comply with company policies while ensuring document and data security.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement of 18 years.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
- Capability to perform general cleaning tasks as per company standards.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team.
- Demonstrate organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities.
- Meet state and local regulations for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is advantageous.
- A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge is acceptable.
