Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service by merchandising and stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness. Working collaboratively with the ALDI team, you will enhance the shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and neatly arrange merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers with their shopping needs.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures.
- Comply with company policies, uphold security standards, and maintain confidentiality.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Proficiency in operating a cash register and store equipment.
- Capable of performing general cleaning tasks to company standards.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or within a team.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask efficiently.
- Meet requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is advantageous.
- A blend of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
