Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are hiring a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to provide exceptional customer service and an excellent shopping experience. You will collaborate with the ALDI team to uphold company standards and ensure customer satisfaction.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $16.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy
• Adhere to cash policies and company procedures
• Comply with established policies while maintaining security and confidentiality
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old or older
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Operate a cash register efficiently and accurately
• Safely operate equipment and perform cleaning duties
• Interpret and apply company policies
• Excellent communication skills
• Work independently and within a team
• Stay organized, detail-oriented, and multitask efficiently
• Comply with state and local regulations for handling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail work experience preferred
• Educational background or equivalent experience
