Full-Time Store Associate (New Store)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi's new store. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in enhancing the customer shopping experience through merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness. Your collaboration with the ALDI team and exceptional customer service skills will be vital to our success.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures
• Follow established company policies while maintaining document security and confidentiality

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient cash register operation and equipment handling skills
• Capability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol handling and sales

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail work experience is a plus
• Combination of education and experience equivalent
