Full-Time Store Associate (New Store)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI's new store location. As a Store Associate, you will play a critical role in merchandising products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and welcoming store environment. By providing exceptional customer service and working collaboratively with team members, you will enhance the shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Deliver excellent customer service and support customers during their shopping experience
• Collaborate with team members and effectively communicate with store management
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy
• Follow cash policies and procedures to minimize losses
• Adhere to company policies, maintain security, and uphold confidentiality
• Perform other assigned duties as necessary

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of a cash register
• Safe operation of equipment and compliance with procedures
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
• Attention to detail, organization, and multitasking abilities
• Compliance with state and local regulations for the sale of alcoholic beverages
• Prior retail work experience preferred
