Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Manager Trainee to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Manager Trainee, you will receive comprehensive training to prepare you to run your own store successfully. Your responsibilities will include supervising daily store operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, managing staffing needs, and developing operational plans while leading and mentoring the team.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise day-to-day store activities to deliver top-notch customer service.
  • Communicate and uphold company values, fostering teamwork among employees.
  • Address customer concerns promptly and effectively.
  • Maintain store signage and product quality.
  • Participate in hiring and training store personnel.
  • Manage schedules and staffing levels to meet store requirements.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to enhance team performance.
  • Ensure store payroll and budgets are met.
  • Monitor and recommend adjustments to maintain competitiveness.
  • Create a safe and efficient in-store environment.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong customer service and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of retail operations and management principles.
  • Experience with budgeting and personnel management.
  • Proficiency in operating retail equipment and cash registers.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of retail experience.
  • Prior management experience is a plus.
