Full-Time Store Manager Trainee

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Manager Trainee to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Manager Trainee, you will undergo comprehensive training to prepare you for the responsibilities of managing a store effectively. Your role will involve supervising daily store operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, managing staffing needs, and developing operational strategies while mentoring and leading the team.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Supervise and optimize team performance to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Communicate company values and foster a sense of teamwork among employees.
• Manage customer concerns and maintain product quality.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, and recruitment processes.
• Set performance expectations, conduct evaluations, and provide training opportunities.
• Ensure store payroll and budgets are met.
• Monitor the competitive environment and provide feedback for product improvements.
• Maintain a safe and organized store environment.

Job Qualifications

• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Strong customer service and leadership skills.
• Understanding of company policies and procedures.
• Experience in budgeting and personnel management.
• Proficient in operating store equipment and handling cash transactions.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking.
• Compliance with state and local regulations for selling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years retail experience, with prior management experience preferred.
• Combination of education and experience equivalent to the requirements.
