Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Local City Driver / Forklift Operator to join our team at ABF Freight in Brooklyn, NY. As part of one of the largest and most trusted LTL carriers in the country, you will play a crucial role in our success by ensuring the safe and timely pickup and delivery of cargo to various destinations.
General Description of Duties
- Perform pickup and delivery of cargo within proximity of the consolidation/distribution center.
- Load and unload trailers using industry-standard techniques and procedures.
- Adhere to terminal-specific duties and schedules.
Qualifications
- Minimum 21 years of age.
- 1 year of verifiable tractor/trailer experience required.
- Class-A CDL with specific endorsements and no automatic restriction.
- Safe driving record and ability to pass DOT requirements.
