Job Description
We are currently seeking a Local City Driver / Forklift Operator to join our team at ABF Freight, an ArcBest company. As a key member of our logistics and transportation operations, you will be responsible for the efficient pickup and delivery of cargo to various destinations, utilizing safe and professional driving skills.
General Description of Duties
- Perform pickup and delivery of cargo within proximity of the distribution center.
- Load and unload trailers using proper techniques and equipment.
- Adhere to terminal-specific duties and schedules.
Qualifications
- Minimum 21 years of age.
- 1 year of tractor/trailer experience required. Training available for candidates with less experience.
- Class-A CDL with necessary endorsements.
- Stable work history and safe driving record.
- Ability to pass DOT screenings and medical requirements.
