Hiring Local City Driver / Forklift Operator, Full-time

Job Description

We are looking to hire a Local City Driver / Forklift Operator for a full-time position in Brooklyn, NY, at ABF Freight, an ArcBest company. As part of our team, you will be responsible for the pickup and delivery of cargo to and from various destinations, loading and unloading trailers, and following safety procedures.

General Description of Duties:

• Pickup and delivery of cargo within proximity of the consolidation/distribution center.
• Loading and unloading trailers using proper techniques and technology.
• Duties and schedule may vary based on terminal location.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• 1 year of verifiable tractor/trailer experience.
• Class-A CDL with specific endorsements.
• Good work record and safe driving history.
• Able to pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and medical requirements.
