Job Description
We are looking for a Local City Driver / Forklift Operator to join our team at ABF Freight, an ArcBest company. This full-time position based in Reno, NV offers a rewarding and dynamic career with one of the largest LTL carriers in the country. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the pickup and delivery of cargo to and from various destinations, utilizing your skills and expertise in logistics and transportation. The role involves loading and unloading trailers with precision and efficiency, ensuring the safe and timely transportation of goods.
General Description of Duties
- Perform pickup and delivery of cargo within the proximity of the consolidation/distribution center.
- Utilize forklifts and other equipment for loading and unloading trailers.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure secure transportation of goods.
Qualifications
- Minimum 21 years of age.
- 1 year of verifiable tractor/trailer experience required.
- Class-A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker, and hazardous materials endorsements.
- Safe driving record and ability to pass DOT requirements.
