We are looking for a diligent and experienced Housekeeping Manager to oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of all guest rooms and public areas at Holiday Inn and Suites Gateway. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising housekeeping personnel, ensuring that all tasks are performed to the standards set by HMP Properties. You will also handle housekeeping issues, manage supplies and equipment, and coordinate with maintenance staff.

Responsibilities:

• Create daily assignments and plans for housekeeping staff.
• Supervise and monitor the work of Room Inspectors, Room Attendants, Houseman, Laundry, and Night Houseman.
• Hire, train, schedule, and assign duties to department personnel.
• Handle guest complaints and maintain inventory of supplies.
• Test new products and communicate with the Maintenance department for repairs.
• Ensure all rooms are inspected daily for cleanliness standards.

Requirements:

• Extensive knowledge of hotel housekeeping and cleaning techniques.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to conduct thorough room inspections.
• Teamwork-oriented and capable of managing a staff.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma required; 3+ years of hotel operations experience preferred.

Language Skills:

Proficient in English for reading, writing, and speaking with customers and employees.

Computer Skills:

Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Office 365, Outlook, and other relevant software programs.
