Job Description
L.L.Bean is seeking a licensed Industrial Master Electrician to join our team at the Order Fulfillment Center in Freeport. This full-time position offers competitive pay starting at $37.00 per hour, premium pay for night shifts, great benefits, a generous employee discount, and a $3,000 sign-on bonus. Uniforms and tools provided.
Responsibilities
- Provide second level support for electrical maintenance.
- Perform preventative maintenance on industrial equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair PLC-controlled equipment.
- Install, maintain, and support robotics and other systems.
- Oversee power distribution and lighting systems.
- Handle Universal Waste per state guidelines.
- Ensure safety through expertise and hazard identification.
- Collaborate with internal clients and mentor junior electricians.
- Provide 24/7 on-call coverage as needed.
Education & Experience
Required: Licensed Master Electrician with 6 years of experience. Vocational/Technical Degree OR Associate's Degree. Valid state driver's license.
Skills & Qualifications
- Industrial electrical maintenance experience.
- Advanced problem-solving skills.
- Strong documentation and prioritization abilities.
- Knowledge of NEC and NFPA 70E codes.
- Experience with PLCs and blueprints.
- Effective collaborator and self-motivated.
- Ability to work at heights and operate lifts.
- Computer proficiency.
- Willingness to respond to on-call rotations.
