Infection Control Nurse -- LPN/LVN

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Infection Control Nurse -- LPN/LVN to join our clinical team at Genesis Healthcare. In this role, you will work under the guidance of a RN to oversee the Infection Prevention and Control Program at one or more centers. Your responsibilities will include managing activities related to infection prevention, outbreak control, employee health, and surveillance of outcomes and processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead Infection Prevention and Control Activities.
• Manage Outbreak situations effectively.
• Provide guidance and education to staff on infection prevention.
• Conduct surveillance to identify, analyze, and report infections.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current LPN/LVN licensure.
• Specialized training in infection prevention.
• Minimum of three years of nursing experience.
• Experience in long-term care and managerial role preferred.
