Position Summary
Under general supervision, the Journeyman Plumber will perform diagnostic, service, and installation of plumbing in residential and light-commercial environments. The ideal candidate will hold a plumbing and/or gas license as required by regulations and ensure that all work is performed in compliance with relevant codes.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze, diagnose, and resolve customer plumbing problems professionally and accurately.
- Maintain and repair plumbing systems, including water, steam, chemicals, and fuel.
- Install and repair pipes, fittings, fixtures, and appliances using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Interpret blueprints, building codes, and specifications to plan and execute plumbing installations.
- Follow safety protocols and comply with company standards at all times.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent with formal plumbing training.
- Four years of plumbing experience with relevant certifications.
- Proficient mechanical aptitude and knowledge of plumbing tools.
- Strong communication, time-management, and organizational skills.
- Valid driver's license and flexibility to work varied shifts.
- Ability to perform physical tasks in diverse environmental conditions.
