Job Description

The Licensed Nursing Assistant is a vital member of our team, providing basic personal care support and specific aspects of patient care under the direction of the Staff Nurse. Focus on responsive communication, respect, and support to our residents is key to this role.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • State of Vermont LNA license.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work respectfully and successfully as a member of a team.
  • Previous LNA experience preferred.

Unit Information

Otter Creek is a traditional Long-Term Care unit within UVMHN/Helen Porter Rehabilitation & Nursing. Residents are medically unable to live independently but are more cognitively intact. Staff engage in meaningful activities, foster relationships, and provide personalized care.
