Job Description

The University of Vermont Health Network is looking for a compassionate Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) to join our dynamic Hospice & Palliative Care team. As an LNA at the McClure Miller Respite House, you will provide essential hands-on care to terminally ill patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being during challenging times.

Responsibilities

  • Offer compassionate and personalized care to patients in the home or at the Respite House.
  • Establish trust and rapport with patients and their families, respecting individual needs and preferences.
  • Provide education and support to families, offering guidance and emotional assistance.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate care.

Qualifications

  • Valid Vermont Nursing Assistant license.
  • Demonstrated empathy and commitment to delivering compassionate care.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Prior experience in a healthcare environment is preferred.
