Local City Driver / Forklift Operator, Full-time

Job Description

We are looking for a Local City Driver / Forklift Operator to join our team at ABF Freight in Reno, NV. Your primary responsibilities will include the pickup and delivery of cargo, loading and unloading trailers, and ensuring efficient transportation services to our customers.

General Description of Duties

• Perform pickups and deliveries in proximity to the consolidation/distribution center.
• Utilize standard techniques, technology, and procedures for loading and unloading trailers.
• Adapt duties and schedule based on terminal location requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• 1 year of verifiable tractor/trailer experience (training available for eligible candidates).
• Class-A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker, and hazardous materials endorsements.
• Good stable work record and safe driving history.
• Pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and meet medical requirements.
