Local City Driver / Forklift Operator, Full-time

Job Description

We are currently looking for a Local City Driver / Forklift Operator to join our team at ABF Freight in Reno, NV. As part of our dynamic company, you will be responsible for the pickup and delivery of cargo, as well as loading and unloading trailers at our distribution center.

General Description of Duties

• Pickup and delivery of cargo to and from various destinations, typically in proximity to the consolidation/distribution center.
• Utilize techniques, technology, and procedures for loading and unloading trailers similar to those of a dock worker.
• Actual duties and schedules may vary depending on the terminal location.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• 1 year of verifiable tractor/trailer experience required (training available for candidates with less experience).
• Class-A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker, and hazardous materials endorsements with no automatic restriction.
• Good stable work record and safe driving record.
• Ability to pass DOT pre-employment drug screening and meet DOT medical requirements.
