Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at Cargill, a global leader committed to safe, responsible, and sustainable food production. As a Maintenance Mechanic in our protein and salt business, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities
- Operate maintenance tools and equipment effectively and safely.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
- Maintain compliance with safety regulations and departmental procedures.
- Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor to address and resolve maintenance issues.
Requirements
- Willingness to work weekends and flexible shifts.
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to read schematics.
- English proficiency and eligibility to work in the U.S.
- Prior work experience in maintenance or related fields.
