Job Description

Jazz Pharmaceuticals, a global biopharmaceutical company, is looking for a Manager, GCDO Business & Technology Capabilities to join their team. This role involves overseeing the design, development, and support of digital systems and technologies for Global Clinical Development Operations and other R&D functions. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, technical proficiency in clinical digital systems/analytics, and experience in clinical trial operations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and delivery of digital systems to enhance operational efficiency and data quality for GCDO.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and manage digital systems and technologies.
  • Act as an expert advisor on technology solutions to ensure optimal trial performance.
  • Identify and assess new technologies relevant to GCDO and assist in their implementation.
  • Maintain and optimize existing digital systems while exploring opportunities for enhancements.
  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure accurate utilization of systems.
  • Lead and contribute to cross-functional projects representing GCDO Business & Technology Capabilities.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in clinical digital systems and analytics tools (e.g., CTMS, EDC, clinical data analytics).
  • Experience in clinical trials management with a focus on GxP compliance.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and handle complex projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical technology.

Educational Requirements

  • BA/BS degree, preferably in a scientific/healthcare or technology field.
  • Knowledge of FDA/ICH guidelines and industry standards for managing clinical trial data.
  • Familiarity with FDA Guidance Documents and software validation principles.
