Job Description

We are looking for a Manager in Training to join Aldi, where you will train on all aspects of successfully running a store in preparation for managing your own store. Your responsibilities will include supervising day-to-day store operations, ensuring overall performance, identifying staffing needs, managing schedules, and developing operational action plans while mentoring and developing the team.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise day-to-day store operations to provide excellent customer service.
  • Understand and communicate company values to create teamwork among employees.
  • Handle customer concerns and ensure resolution.
  • Maintain store signage and product quality.
  • Assist in hiring and managing store personnel.
  • Prepare and revise weekly schedules for appropriate staffing levels.
  • Conduct store meetings and provide training opportunities for staff.
  • Manage cash audits and monitor store budget.
  • Oversee merchandising and stock levels.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of retail experience.
  • Prior management experience preferred.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong customer service skills and leadership abilities.
