Job Description
We are looking for a Manager in Training to join Aldi, where you will train on all aspects of successfully running a store in preparation for managing your own store. Your responsibilities will include supervising day-to-day store operations, ensuring overall performance, identifying staffing needs, managing schedules, and developing operational action plans while mentoring and developing the team.
Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day store operations to provide excellent customer service.
- Understand and communicate company values to create teamwork among employees.
- Handle customer concerns and ensure resolution.
- Maintain store signage and product quality.
- Assist in hiring and managing store personnel.
- Prepare and revise weekly schedules for appropriate staffing levels.
- Conduct store meetings and provide training opportunities for staff.
- Manage cash audits and monitor store budget.
- Oversee merchandising and stock levels.
- Comply with company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of retail experience.
- Prior management experience preferred.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong customer service skills and leadership abilities.
