Job Description
Join Genesis HealthCare as a Minimal Data Set Coordinator - Licensed Practical Nurse. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the Resident Assessment Process by completing the Minimum Data Set (MDS) and Care Area Assessments (CAAs) to ensure quality patient care and proper reimbursement.
Position Highlights
- Lead the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process, including MDS completion, encoding, and State transmission.
- Assist in creating personalized resident Care Plans in compliance with Federal and State regulations.
- Provide training to the interdisciplinary team on clinical content and electronic MDS completion.
Requirements
- Active LPN license in good standing.
- Prior experience in hospital, long-term care, or related healthcare settings.
- Familiarity with rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices and regulatory guidelines.
- Proficiency in computer applications, preferably AccuMed.
- Experience as an MDS Coordinator is a plus.
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
