As the LPN MDS Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in the Resident Assessment Process by completing the Minimum Data Set (MDS) and Care Area Assessments (CAAs) to ensure optimal patient care and nursing center reimbursement.
Position Highlights
- Direct the nursing center's RAI process, ensuring compliance with completion guidelines and electronic transmission of the MDS.
- Develop individualized resident Care Plans in accordance with Federal and State regulations.
- Provide training on clinical content and electronic completion of MDS items to the interdisciplinary team.
Requirements
- Active LPN license in good standing.
- Prior experience in healthcare settings.
- Familiarity with general, rehabilitative, and restorative nursing practices.
- Proficiency in RAI/PPS processes and MDS completion.
- Computer skills with knowledge of Windows applications; AccuMed experience preferred.
