Mobile Fleet Technician

Job Description

Prestige Fleet Services is seeking a Mobile Fleet Technician to join our growing team of experienced technicians. As a Mobile Fleet Technician, you will be responsible for performing repairs and inspections on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers. Your role will involve a variety of tasks, such as diagnosing and repairing engine components, electrical systems, brakes, tires, exhaust systems, and more. You will also oversee maintenance procedures, manage inventory, and complete necessary documentation accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and inspections on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers.
• Schedule and oversee maintenance procedures, including preventive maintenance and DOT inspections.
• Manage inventory and obtain parts from local vendors.
• Accurately complete all necessary documentation in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of diesel and trailer repair experience preferred.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Self-motivated with excellent organization and planning skills.
• Ability to use a computer/tablet for electronic processing of work orders.
