Job Description
We are currently seeking a Class A CDL Hazmat and Tanker Truck Driver to join our team at ABF Freight. As a City Driver, you will be responsible for the pickup and delivery of cargo to various destinations in proximity to our consolidation/distribution center. You will play a crucial role in maintaining strong customer relationships through efficient and safe transportation services.
Responsibilities
- Perform pickup and delivery of cargo efficiently and safely.
- Utilize up-to-date technology and procedures for loading and unloading trailers.
- Adhere to safety regulations and ensure compliance with HAZMAT and tanker requirements.
- Maintain a stable work record and strong work ethic.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of tractor/trailer experience.
- Valid Class A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker, and HAZMAT endorsements.
- Safe driving record with DOT pre-employment drug screening.
- Ability to work effectively and independently with a strong commitment to safety.
