Nurse-LPN MDS Coordinator

Job Description

Genesis Healthcare is seeking a Nurse-LPN MDS Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our nursing center, you will play a crucial role in the Resident Assessment Process by completing relevant items on the Minimum Data Set (MDS) and Care Area Assessments (CAAs) to ensure optimal patient care and appropriate reimbursement.

Position Highlights

• Direct the RAI process, including MDS completion, encoding, and electronic State transmission.
• Develop individualized resident Care Plans based on Federal and State regulations.
• Provide training on clinical content and electronic MDS completion to new team members.

Requirements

• Current LPN license in good standing.
• Prior experience in a healthcare facility.
• Familiarity with nursing practices, medical procedures, and regulations governing long-term care.
• Proficiency in computer skills, including Windows applications.
• AccuMed experience preferred.
