Job Description

We are seeking an Operations Supervisor I to join our team at ABF Freight in Denver, CO. As a key member of our operations, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely, safe, and efficient loading and unloading of freight during assigned shifts.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and control available resources for loading/unloading operations.
• Maintain appropriate load plans and ensure safe vehicle operation.
• Assign job tasks, provide training, and monitor worker performance.
• Ensure a clean, safe work environment and compliance with hazardous materials handling regulations.
• Work collaboratively in a fast-paced setting to achieve department goals.
• Support and promote our corporate values of creativity, integrity, collaboration, growth, excellence, and wellness.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in transportation and/or related fields, with supervisory experience highly desirable.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of freight handling techniques, imports, and exports.
