General Description of Duties

• Plan, supervise, and manage available resources for timely, damage-free, and safe freight loading/unloading.
• Maintain proper load plans and ensure safe load balance for efficient vehicle operation.
• Assign tasks based on loading/unloading schedules, coordinate work assignments, and monitor performance.
• Provide training, feedback, and disciplinary recommendations if necessary.
• Create a clean and safe work environment, promoting safe handling and storage of materials.
• Work collaboratively to achieve department goals and uphold company values of creativity, integrity, and wellness.
• Handle hazardous materials with care and adhere to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; experience in service center or transportation field highly regarded.
• Demonstrated supervisory experience is beneficial, along with a strong understanding of freight operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general knowledge of freight handling techniques required.
