Part-Time Store Cashier/Stocker

Job Description

We are looking for a Part-Time Store Cashier/Stocker to join the ALDI team. As a Cashier or Stocker, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the customer shopping experience by operating registers, stocking shelves, and providing exceptional customer service in a collaborative work environment. This position offers a dynamic work setting where every day brings new challenges and opportunities.

Position Details

• Position Type: Part-Time
• Average Hours: Fewer than 30 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with supervisors
• Uphold security and confidentiality protocols
• Cashier Responsibilities: Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and provide top-notch customer service
• Stocker Responsibilities: Ensure shelves are stocked, rotate products, and follow merchandising guidelines
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing as needed

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Provide courteous customer service
• Interpret and apply company policies and procedures
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Prior retail experience preferred

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous work experience in retail preferred
• Knowledge of products and services
