Job Description
We are hiring a full-time Medical Surgical Patient Care Technician (PCT) to join our team at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, OK. This position offers night shifts with great benefits, including up to a $2,500 sign-on bonus. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will collaborate with registered nurses to provide essential patient care and maintain a safe and healing environment for our patients.
Responsibilities
- Support registered nurses in delivering patient care effectively and safely.
- Document patient data accurately and communicate observations to the nursing team.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety by assisting with mobility, personal care, and maintaining a clean environment.
- Monitor and report patients' vital signs and conditions promptly.
- Participate in hourly rounding, shift reports, and other unit activities as assigned.
- Perform various direct and indirect patient care duties and provide clerical support as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Proficiency in at least two areas of practice.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of experience in acute or long-term care.
- Certification as a CNA, PCT, paramedic, or enrollment in nursing school.
- Experience in phlebotomy is preferred.
