As the National Payer Account Executive- Medicaid, you will be responsible for managing the relationship with Fee for Service and Managed Medicaid accounts, ensuring appropriate market access for Jazz products. This role involves collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, conducting business reviews, and negotiating agreements with target payers.
Responsibilities:
- Execute market access strategies for Jazz products within assigned Medicaid accounts.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with key individuals in target payers.
- Leverage internal resources to implement Market Access Strategy.
- Collaborate with partners to optimize reimbursement support services for target payers.
- Anticipate and proactively address obstacles within target payers.
- Educate target payers on Jazz products and values.
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of pharma/biopharmaceutical experience as an Account Manager in Medicaid.
- Experience in leading cross-organizational projects and teams.
- Proficiency in healthcare, payers, formulary development, and compliance regulations.
- Demonstrated expertise in Jazz core competencies and values.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS Degree required (MBA, JD, or PharmD preferred).
- Experience with specialty products, rare diseases, and healthcare market dynamics.
- Clinical knowledge in therapeutic areas like Oncology or Neuroscience preferred.
- Willingness to travel approximately 60% of the time.
