This full-time position offers evening shifts with a sign-on bonus of up to $1,000. As a member of our dedicated healthcare team, you will play a critical role in ensuring exceptional patient care and adherence to quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Promote professionalism and foster a collaborative work environment.
• Obtain patient specimens following laboratory guidelines accurately.
• Communicate effectively with care providers regarding patient information.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
• Demonstrate competency in procedural protocols and task prioritization.
• Handle specimen packaging, transport, and accessioning efficiently.
• Execute infection control practices and patient identification procedures.
• Perform drug screen collection and processing as assigned.
• Respond to laboratory inquiries and emergencies promptly.
• Deliver phlebotomy services with professionalism and patient care focus.
• Engage in continuous self-improvement and evaluation of practice.
• Ensure quality care delivery and facilitate laboratory growth.
• Collaborate with multiple departments and perform arterial punctures as necessary.
• Undertake additional duties as delegated.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Basic computer skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited phlebotomy/medical assistant program with clinicals or prior phlebotomy experience.
• Experience in a clinical environment is desirable.
