Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Plumbing Specialist to join Casteel Air, one of Metro Atlanta's premier HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical companies. As a Plumbing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the construction and maintenance of plumbing structures and systems. Your responsibilities will include project planning, budgeting, coordination, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with supervisory personnel, technicians, and design professionals to address work procedures and resolve job site issues.
- Plan and schedule plumbing project activities, submit budget estimates and progress reports, and ensure projects meet deadlines.
- Inspect projects to ensure compliance with building, safety, and environmental codes and regulations.
- Organize and direct the installation or maintenance of plumbing systems, facilities, and structures.
- Develop quality control programs, interpret plans, negotiate revisions, and obtain necessary permits.
- Evaluate installation methods, determine cost-effectiveness, and supervise job projects and related workers.
- Requisition supplies, review time sheets, enforce safety regulations, and coach and motivate technicians for increased productivity.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Plumbing Specialist or similar role.
- Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and quality control standards.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to interpret plans, negotiate contracts, and ensure project cost-effectiveness.
- Valid driver's license and safe driving record.
