Plumbing Technician

Job Description

Casteel Air is currently seeking a dedicated Plumbing Technician to join our team. As the Plumbing Technician, you will play a key role in coordinating and overseeing the construction and maintenance of plumbing structures and systems. This position requires a hands-on approach to project development, budgeting, scheduling, and implementation. Additionally, you will be responsible for supervising and mentoring plumbing technicians and helpers to ensure efficient operations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with supervisory personnel, designers, and clients to resolve work-related issues.
• Manage project schedules and activities to meet deadlines.
• Prepare and present budget estimates and progress reports.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
• Plan, organize, and oversee plumbing installation and maintenance activities.
• Review job specifications and implement appropriate methods.
• Address job site incidents promptly and appropriately.
• Negotiate contract revisions with stakeholders.
• Implement quality control programs and respond to project emergencies.
• Interpret and clarify plans and contract terms for project stakeholders.
• Obtain necessary permits and licenses for projects.
• Evaluate cost-effectiveness of repair and installation plans.
• Supervise plumbing technicians and helpers.
• Assign labor resources to job sites efficiently.
• Procure materials and supplies for projects.
• Develop strategies to meet departmental quotas.
• Ensure accurate payroll processing for technicians.
• Uphold safety standards and Company regulations.
• Coach and train technicians to enhance productivity and skills.
• Operate company vehicles safely.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
