Essential Job Functions
- Deliver and coordinate patient care in accordance with care plans and physician orders.
- Observe and assess patient condition, reporting changes promptly.
- Document all care activities and nursing actions accurately and in a timely manner.
- Implement and update nursing care plans as needed.
- Take necessary nursing actions to achieve expected outcomes and prevent risks.
- Comply with Aveanna policies, regulations, and quality standards.
- Provide patient education on self-care, disease processes, and preventive measures.
- Participate in educational programs and skill evaluations to maintain competency.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
- Current, unrestricted LPN license in the state of practice.
- Valid CPR certification.
- Proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and nursing care compliance.
Preferences
- Six months of recent clinical experience as an LPN.
- Home health care experience.
