Job Description
Are you a compassionate nurse seeking to work one-on-one with patients in the home health setting? ChristianaCare is currently looking for a Private Duty Registered Nurse (RN) to provide expert care to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients throughout DE.
Responsibilities
- Deliver specialized medical care including administering medications, gastric tube feedings, tracheostomy maintenance, and ventilator support.
- Coordinate care with patients' families, physicians, and healthcare providers.
- Build positive relationships through compassionate and courteous service.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Requirements
- DE LPN or RN license with 1 year of healthcare experience.
- Ability to attend a two-week orientation in Camden office followed by patient field orientation.
- Experience in home health or Long Term Care is a plus.
- Preference for candidates with tracheostomy and ventilator experience.
