Job Description
We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Private Duty Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at ChristianaCare. In this role, you will provide expert care to medically fragile pediatric and adult patients in the comfort of their homes. Our Private Duty Nurses play a crucial role in coordinating care, administering treatments, and building positive relationships with patients and their families.
Responsibilities
- Deliver expert care to medically fragile pediatric and adult patients.
- Coordinate care with families, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
- Build positive relationships with compassion, responsiveness, and courtesy.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Requirements
- DE LPN or RN license with at least 1 year of healthcare experience.
- Ability to attend a two-week daytime orientation in Camden office.
- Previous home health and/or Long Term Care experience is a plus.
- Experience with tracheostomy and ventilator care is preferred.
