Job Description
The University of Vermont Health Network is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Women and Children’s Unit team at CVMC. As an essential part of our multidisciplinary team, you will be providing collaborative, high-quality, family-centered care to our patients. This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside board-certified OBGYN’s, Certified Nurse Midwives, experienced labor and delivery nurses, and other healthcare professionals in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Unit Description
Our Women and Children’s Unit comprises 4 LDRP suites with labor tubs, 6 inpatient rooms, 3 observation rooms, and a fully equipped Operating Room. You will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional care delivery and support for patients and their families.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate and comprehensive nursing care to patients.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance nursing skills.
Requirements
- Active RN license in the state.
- Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
