Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our HomeHealth team at ChristianaCare. As a Field Nurse, you will provide exceptional care to geriatric patients in the community, working closely with our supportive team to deliver high-quality services. This is a full-time position based in Newark, DE, with day shift hours, occasional weekends, and on-call responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Administer skilled nursing care and treatment to geriatric patients in the community.
- Develop and execute patient-centered care plans in alignment with resources.
- Ensure IV proficiency and perform IV functions as needed.
- Participate in discharge planning for patients.
Requirements
- BSN required; ADN candidates must pursue BSN within three years of employment.
- Current DE RN license or compact state license.
- 2 years of recent HomeHealth RN experience.
- Previous Home Healthcare and Med-Surgical experience preferred.
