Retail Sales Associate

Job Description

Join the ALDI team as a Retail Sales Associate, where you will play a key role in enhancing the customer shopping experience. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness to ensure a pleasant shopping environment.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
• Conduct inventory counts and monitor accuracy
• Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures
• Operate equipment and perform general cleaning duties
• Other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Operate a cash register efficiently and accurately
• Safely operate equipment and perform cleaning tasks
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior work experience in retail is a plus
